NORTHERN ROCK’S LATEST COLOUR A BIG HIT WITH DESIGNERS AND MODERN COTTAGE OWNERS
“What began as a special order from Northern Rock last year has developed into a somewhat of a trend” states Besher Zetouni, General Manager of Northern Rock in Muskoka. Once the photos got out, many of our landscapers and masons who have customers with modern cottages, as well as traditional cottages, began requesting the colour. “It is not an easy colour to source”, states Besher.
But now Northern Rock has added it to their regular stocking inventory of flagstone, steps, building stone, veneers, coping, pavers, tiles and hearth stones. It is selling fast according to Northern Rock’s manager but they are filling all orders quickly.
As can be seen in the photographs taken at this Fairy Lake cottage, it complements the modern design perfectly. The black tones blend into the cottage colours and the lighter tones provide contrast. “The homeowner couldn’t be happier” says Besher, who also encourages landscapers and masons to check out all of Northern Rock’s granite and limestone inventory including over-sized flagstone, large tiles and pavers, coping, stair treads up to 8 feet long, veneers and building stone, hearths and outdoor counters.
